The website was updated today.
The update includes some enhancements to our Pattern syntax that supports some operators and concepts from ChatScript ( http://chatscript.sourceforge.net/ ). We plan to add more ChatScript features in the future.
New Features:
- Pattern support for "[" and "(" operators.
- * "[" matches a set of words, i.e. Pattern:"I [like love lov luv] you"
- * "(" optionally matches a set of words, i.e. Pattern:"I (really kinda) like you" (Note in ChatScript this operator is "{" but "{" is already used for Self expressions)
- Self primitives are now supported in patterns, i.e. Pattern:"#is #you ok" matches "are you ok", "r u ok", "is your ok", "am yourself ok"
- AIML importing, topic/that pattern improvements,
- AIML "*" patterns are now added as default responses when importing as a chat log (default responses now support topics and previous)
- New Self operators, count, less, greater, equal, i.e. {if (greater (count (all #name from :speaker), 1)) then (return "you have lots of names")}
- Fix to mp4 grey backgrounds for Chrome
- New Restrict search option to filter forkable, Gold, websites, or external bots.
- Some minor fixes and enhancements
